Kwesi Baiden advocates for curriculum reform at Millennium Excellence Awards panel on AI and blockchain

The Deputy CEO of Margins Group, Kwesi Baiden, has made a powerful call for education reform as Ghana positions itself for the Artificial Intelligence(AI) and blockchain revolution.
Speaking on the panel discussion “AI, Blockchain and the Future of Business” at the prestigious Millennium Excellence Awards celebration, Mr Baiden emphasised the urgent need for intentional change in Ghana’s education system.
“For Ghana to join the AI transformation, our education curriculum must change if we want to embrace change, and we must be intentional about the change we are preparing for,” Baiden stated, drawing attention to the critical link between curriculum development and national progress in emerging technologies.
The three-day Millennium Excellence Awards event, a hallmark of intellectual engagement and national recognition since 1999, brought together some of Ghana’s brightest minds in technology, policy, and business. The forum served as a platform for leaders to discuss how innovation can drive Ghana’s future development.
Mr Baiden’s remarks align closely with Margins Group's ongoing commitment to improving educational outcomes through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
By supporting technology-focused learning and skills development, the company continues to contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s forward-looking transformation agenda.
As the conversation around AI, blockchain, and the future of work deepens, stakeholders across sectors are increasingly recognising the importance of strategic education reform in preparing the next generation of Ghanaians for global competitiveness, he concluded.
