MP Alhassan Tampuli joins Ramadan Quran exegesis, hosts Iftar in Tamale
Alhassan Tampuli Sulemana, the Member of Parliament for Gushegu Constituency in the Northern Region, has joined Islamic scholars in Tamale, the Northern Regional capital, for Ramadan exegesis of the Qur'an as part of activities marking the holy month.
The Member of Parliament participated in the religious sessions led by Sheikh Baba Dua at the Tamale Central Mosque and Sheikh Amin Bamba at Majid’l Qudwah Mosque.
Mr. Tampuli said the sessions were both intellectually stimulating and spiritually fulfilling, noting that such teachings help deepen understanding of the Quran and provide guidance for daily life.
He also hosted an Iftar gathering in Tamale, bringing together friends, family members and youth of the New Patriotic Party.
The MP expressed appreciation for the opportunity to reconnect with supporters and well-wishers during the gathering.
He further prayed for the acceptance of the prayers and fasting of Muslims observing the holy month of Ramadan.
