Gifty Oware released after 20 days in custody; co-accused remain detained over stringent bail
Gifty Oware has been released from the custody of the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) after spending 20 days in detention, having finally met the stringent bail conditions set by the court.
Her release came after she secured three sureties, two of whom were required to be justified, to meet a GHS 10 million bail requirement.
However, her co-accused remains behind bars.
Her former boss, Osei Asibey Antwi, has been unable to meet the court's GHS 00 million bail condition.
Alhaji Hanan also remains in custody, facing a GHS 100 million bail.
In a related development, Alhaji Hanan's wife was released today after meeting her separate GHS 50 million bail.
