Oliver Barker-Vormawor says he was robbed 'near Achimota overhead' of money and costly belongings
Lawyer and civil society group Democracy Hub convener Oliver Barker-Vormawor has reported being robbed in Accra.
On Thursday evening, November 20, 2025, when Barker-Vormawor wrote on his Facebook wall, he first indicated he had been robbed "not less than 30 minutes ago".
He enumerated what was taken from him, citing: "My MacBook, iPad, Google Pixel 9, house key, two wallets, Sony headphones, books."
Without indicating the currency, he said the robbers made away with his money, too.
"Cash of 9500," he specified, adding that his "credit cards" were also gone.
According to Barker-Vormawor, he was robbed "near Achimota overhead" in Accra.
He said nothing about injuries to his body.
