'Where do I begin?': Sarkodie dumbfounded after ginormous success of 'Rapperholic Homecoming' in Kumasi

Rapper Sarkodie has indicated he is dumbfounded about the ginormous success of the Rapperholic Homecoming event in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, over the weekend.
"Where do I begin?" he simply wrote on Facebook, Sunday afternoon, September 28, 2025.
The Hiphop/Hiplife artiste took to the stage on Saturday at the 40,000-capacity Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The musicians who showed up to support the rap legend included Kofi Kinaata, Donzy, Beeztrap KOTM, Olivetheboy, and Kweku Smoke. His idol Obrafour, serial collaborator Efya, and one-time rival Shatta Wale made appearances, too - the most prominent of all being the latter's.
Shatta Wale, who until the lead-up to the event appeared to be at loggerheads with Sarkodie, surprised and thrilled fans when it was announced he was not just performing but providing transportation sponsorship for the event via his Shaxi ride-hailing service.
"Thank you Oseikrom," the Reggae/Dancehall legend wrote on Facebook on Sunday.
"Thank you, Sark Nation, and Shatta Movement fans [love and thankful emojis]."
