'Music is spiritual': Philipa Baafi admonishes colleagues in Gospel

Gospel star Philipa Baafi has expressed optimism that numerous "errors" in Gospel music are being "solved, by the grace of God".
The I Go Dance hitmaker stayed away from pinpointing the exact errors she had in mind, speaking to Taller Dee on the No.1 Gospel Showbiz programme on No.1 105.3 FM.
She, however, urged Gospel musicians to be mindful that their service and work were mainly "spiritual".
"Music is not just music. This is my view," the Go Higher hitmaker said.
"That's why they say music is good for the soul," she buttressed.
"There is a spirit backing it," Philipa Baafi emphasised, admonishing her Gospel music colleagues, "So if you say you're doing Gospel, you need the backing of God's spirit so it touches [and transforms] lives."
