GTA boss Maame Efua Houadjeto visits Eastern Regional Office over 'strategic initiatives to elevate Ghana's tourism'

Chief Executive of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) Mrs Maame Efua Houadjeto has visited the GTA Eastern Regional Office.
The GTA Eastern Regional Office is led by Ms Dinah Adu Owusu.
GTA said, on Facebook, that during Mrs Houadjeto's visit, part of her regional working tour, a meeting concentrating on "strategic initiatives to elevate Ghana’s tourism sector, with a strong emphasis on sustainable practices, enhanced community engagement, and comprehensive educational programmes" was had.
"This visit reinforces the ongoing dedication to promoting Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and positioning it as a leading sustainable tourism destination," the statement highlighted.
Additionally, the GTA has announced their CEO will be speaking at the 2025 GUBA Trade & Investment Conference, and also attend the GUBA Awards, all in Barbados, November 10, "as Africa and the Caribbean connect to build partnerships, grow trade, and shape a future of shared prosperity".
The GTA is an official sponsor of the said GUBA events.
