GIPC boosts regional operations with new vehicle for Takoradi zonal office

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has enhanced its regional outreach efforts with the presentation of a new operational vehicle to its Zonal Office in Takoradi.
The initiative aims to bolster the Centre’s work across the Western, Western North, and Central Regions.
The vehicle, officially handed over by the Chief Executive Officer of GIPC, Mr. Simon Madjie, was procured under the Ghana Economic Transformation Project (GETP)—a World Bank-funded programme designed to support institutions that drive private sector growth and economic transformation.
Mr. Madjie explained that the provision of the vehicle is part of GIPC’s broader strategy to improve regional engagement and promote decentralised investment facilitation.
“This support is crucial to enhancing the Centre’s capacity to identify investment opportunities, engage stakeholders, and coordinate strategic initiatives such as the Western Region Investment Forum,” he said.
He reiterated GIPC’s commitment to ensuring that all regions benefit from investment promotion efforts, adding that effective regional presence is vital for attracting and sustaining investments beyond Accra.
