Police launch search for woman over alleged baby abduction at Manprobi Polyclinic
Police have launched a search for a woman alleged to have abducted a baby from its mother at the Manprobi Polyclinic in the Greater Accra Region.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at the health facility under circumstances that are currently under investigation.
The suspect is said to have taken the infant from the child’s mother before leaving the premises and jumping onto a waiting motorbike.
Law enforcement authorities are appealing to the public to assist with information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
Anyone who may have seen the woman or has knowledge of her whereabouts is urged to report immediately to the nearest police station.
Police say efforts are underway to locate the baby and ensure the child’s safe return, while investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the alleged abduction.
