NPA Chief Executive commends NAPET Ladies after trophy win over Ghana Gas
The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Mr Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, has commended the NAPET Ladies football team for their impressive victory over Ghana Gas Ladies, which earned them a prestigious trophy.
The match, hosted by Ghana Gas in October this year, saw the NAPET Ladies defeat their hosts on their own turf — a feat Mr Tameklo described as a demonstration of discipline, commitment, and excellence.
“You brought great honour to the Authority. You visited somebody in his home and beat him.
It demonstrated your service and dedication. Congratulations on your excellent work,” Mr Tameklo said.
The NPA Chief Executive also praised the team’s technical leadership, commending Mr Tijani Shaibu and Mr Daniel Oduro Mintah for guiding the team to victory through effective coaching and management.
Mr Tameklo made the remarks when the football team, led by the technical team and the President of NAPET Ladies, Ms Evelyn Yeboah, paid a courtesy call on him to formally present the trophy.
He expressed pride in the team’s achievement and pledged that management would demonstrate its appreciation for the players and technical staff in recognition of their hard work and success.
