NSA suspends old digital platform for new system

The Ghana National Service Authority (NSA) has suspended its Central Service Management Platform (CSMP) following findings from a comprehensive audit that raised concerns about transparency, data security, and real-time verification.
According to the Director-General of the NSA, Ruth Dela Seddoh, the decision came after a technical and forensic audit revealed several irregularities in the old system that compromised the integrity of the Authority’s operations.
“The audit revealed significant issues with the CSMP, necessitating the design and deployment of a more secure and efficient digital platform, she said.
As part of the reform, the NSA has introduced a new, robust digital platform to manage the enrollment, registration, and deployment of national service personnel nationwide.
The new system is designed to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency, and will officially be used for the 2025–2026 national service registration, which opens on October 8, 2025.
The Authority announced that all previous registrations conducted in June 2025 have been declared null and void, requiring all prospective service personnel to re-register through the new system.
Additionally, the NSA assured affected applicants that refunds would be issued to those who made payments under the suspended registration process earlier this year.
Madam Seddoh reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to ensuring a credible, transparent, and efficient national service process.
“This new digital system represents our dedication to accountability, transparency, and the continuous improvement of the national service scheme”, she stated.
The NSA further assured all stakeholders that the new platform will deliver a smoother, more secure, and user-friendly experience for both registrants and administrators.
