2025 AMC & TICON Africa conference launched

The 2025 Africa Marketing Confederation (AMC) and Technology and Innovation Conference (TICON) Africa has officially been launched in Accra under the compelling theme, “Empowering Africa’s Tech Future.”
The conference aims to spotlight the continent’s digital transformation journey while aligning with Ghana’s broader technological and economic aspirations.
This year’s event emphasises the vital role of innovation, marketing, and digital infrastructure in accelerating Africa’s growth.
It also reinforces Ghana’s position as a hub for tech-driven development on the continent.
In a symbolic moment during the launch, two of Ghana’s most celebrated minds—Prof Robert Ebo Hinson, hailed as Africa’s foremost marketing scholar, and Dr. Prince Kofi Kludjeson, Chairman of Celltel Networks Limited and a trailblazer in Ghana’s telecommunications sector—were recognized for their contributions to the fields of marketing and technology.
Their presence served as a testament to Ghana’s rich intellectual capital and leadership in innovation.
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Tourism Authority, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, in a remark, expressed strong support for the conference, noting its strategic alignment with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision to position Ghana as Africa’s premier tourism destination.
The Authority believes the event will not only boost the tech ecosystem but also promote Ghana’s cultural and investment appeal.
The 2025 AMC & TICON Africa Conference is scheduled to take place from August 20th to 22nd in Accra and is expected to attract thought leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators from across the continent and beyond.
Organisers and stakeholders are optimistic that the conference will set a new benchmark for collaboration and technological advancement across Africa.
