Rehoboth Social Housing unveils home ownership plan for Ghana Armed Forces personnel
Rehoboth Social Housing Limited has proposed a comprehensive Home Ownership Plan aimed at helping members of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to acquire affordable and decent housing.
The proposal, presented to the Ministry of Defence, outlines a framework to enhance the welfare and living standards of military personnel and their families across the country.
According to the company, the initiative seeks to address the accommodation challenges faced by service members, providing them with a sustainable pathway to home ownership during and after active service.
“Our goal is to support the men and women who serve the nation by giving them access to affordable, quality housing that ensures long-term stability and dignity,” representatives from Rehoboth Social Housing said during the presentation.
The proposed plan includes flexible financing arrangements, low-interest payment options, and strategically located housing developments tailored to the needs of security service personnel.
Officials at the Ministry of Defence commended the proposal, describing it as a timely and impactful initiative that aligns with the government’s broader efforts to improve the welfare of Ghana’s security forces.
The partnership, once approved, is expected to pave the way for collaborative housing projects between Rehoboth Social Housing Limited and the Ghana Armed Forces, contributing to the national housing agenda and strengthening the social protection framework for military families.
