The Minister for Roads and Highways, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for the Adaklu constituency in the Volta Region, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has appealed to contractors to prioritise the employment of young Ghanaian graduates in upcoming road projects across all the sixteen regions of the country.

Speaking at the launch of the Big Push programme in Ho, he highlighted the growing number of graduates with qualifications in civil engineering, quantity surveying, and project management who remain unemployed.

He urged contractors engaged in the programme to create opportunities for these graduates to contribute their skills to the construction of road networks across the country.

Mr. Agbodza further assured the public that the Big Push initiative will be completed within 24 months, emphasising its potential to improve infrastructure while also tackling youth unemployment.
