The Volta Regional Manager of STC, Richard Ahiafor, has expressed regret and sympathy for the “unfortunate” accident involving one of his company's buses, which ended in a person losing their life.

Speaking on Ho FM’s Adanu Morning Show with Togbe Ahorgo I, he called on the families of the victims to stay calm as police and management have commenced their investigations into what actually led to the incident involving a Mahama Can-do (keke) vehicle and STC bus.

He urged government to consider the road networks in the region and the municipality to avoid such happenings.

His call to the radio programme came at the back of a clash yesterday, June 16, 2025, in Ho, which led to the death of a Mahama Can-do rider, and injuring four others severely.

Meanwhile, the victims are still in Ho Teaching Hospital and Ho Municipal Hospital receiving medical care.
