The Acting Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Hohoe Constituency, Josephine Kafui Normenyo, has congratulated the Municipal Chief Executive for Hohoe in the Volta Region, Prosper Kumi, on his first anniversary in office.
In a statement marking the milestone on April 4, 2026, Ms Normenyo described Mr Kumi’s confirmation with a 100 per cent endorsement by Assembly Members as a clear demonstration of confidence in his leadership and vision for the municipality.
She commended the MCE for his dedication and commitment to the development of Hohoe over the past year, noting that his leadership has inspired progress within the community.
However, she also used the occasion to call on Mr Kumi to prioritise youth welfare and empowerment, urging his office to create more opportunities for employment, skills development, and active youth participation in governance.
Ms Normenyo expressed confidence that under Mr Kumi’s leadership, Hohoe would continue to experience inclusive growth and development, particularly for young people who play a key role in the municipality’s future.
She reaffirmed her support for the MCE and wished him continued success in his service to the people of Hohoe.
