National Peace Council mourns Nuno Blafo Akotia
The National Peace Council has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Nuno Blafo Akotia, known in traditional leadership as OMA ETU III, describing him as a devoted advocate for peace and unity.
In a tribute issued by the Council, the late Akotia was praised for his unwavering commitment to peacebuilding efforts in Ghana, noting that his wisdom and dedication significantly contributed to advancing the Council’s mission.
The statement highlighted his legacy of compassion, dialogue, and unity, which it said would continue to inspire both current and future generations working toward national cohesion.
The Council extended its condolences to the bereaved family and all who were touched by his work, praying for the peaceful repose of his soul.
