Shatta Wale announces surprise single ‘Ain’t Nobody’ featuring John Legend
Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has announced the upcoming release of a new single titled Ain’t Nobody, which will feature American singer and songwriter John Legend.
The musician made the explosive announcement in a post shared on his Facebook page bearing his birth name - Charles Nii Armah Mensah - revealing that the song is scheduled for official release on March 20.
In the post, Shatta Wale described the track as a blend of R&B and reggae sounds and expressed excitement about collaborating with the Grammy-winning American star.
According to him, the song is a special offering to his fan base, the Shatta Movement (SM).
The announcement has quickly drawn attention among music fans, particularly because it marks another high-profile international collaboration for the Ghanaian artiste.
Shatta Wale previously made global headlines in 2019 when he featured on Already, a track by Beyoncé from the album The Lion King: The Gift.
The project went on to earn a Grammy Awards nomination and brought significant international attention to the Ghanaian dancehall star.
The collaboration on Already remains widely regarded as one of the biggest international music partnerships involving a contemporary Ghanaian artiste.
Shatta Wale’s latest announcement of a collaboration with John Legend is therefore expected to further strengthen his reputation for securing major global partnerships in the music industry.
