DVLA, CILT explore partnership to strengthen public education on road safety
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has held discussions with the national leadership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) to explore new areas of collaboration aimed at improving road safety awareness and service delivery.
The meeting focused on identifying ways the two institutions can align their mandates and leverage their respective expertise to enhance public education and engagement on transport and road safety issues.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DVLA, Julius Neequaye Kotey, indicated that the partnership will allow the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport to support the DVLA with professional expertise, particularly in the area of public education and stakeholder engagement.
According to the DVLA, strengthening partnerships with professional institutions is essential to improving service delivery and promoting responsible road use.
