CAF President pays courtesy call on President Mahama ahead of CAF meeting in Accra

The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe, paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama on Friday, ahead of the finals of the Continental African Schools Football Championship.
The meeting, held in Accra, underscored the growing collaboration between sports leadership and political figures to promote youth development through football across the continent.
Dr. Motsepe and President Mahama discussed the importance of nurturing young football talent and the role sports can play in uniting Africa and driving social change.
President Mahama commended CAF for its efforts in investing in grassroots football and reaffirmed his longstanding support for initiatives that empower young people through sports.
The finals of the African Schools Football Championship, which bring together the best young teams from across the continent, are scheduled to take place this weekend, promising an exciting showcase of Africa’s future football stars.
