NDC extends Christmas and New Year greetings, reaffirms commitment to governance mandate
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended warm Christmas and New Year greetings to Ghanaians at home and abroad, while reaffirming its commitment to delivering on the mandate entrusted to it by the electorate.
In a statement signed by the party’s General Secretary, Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the NDC called on Christians celebrating Christmas to reflect on the enduring values of compassion, sacrifice, peace and gratitude that define the season.
The party noted that the festive period also marks one year since Ghanaians entrusted the NDC with the responsibility to govern the country, describing the mandate as one it holds with deep appreciation and a strong sense of duty.
According to the statement, the NDC government has, over the past months, taken deliberate steps to restore public confidence in governance, stabilise the economy and lay the foundation for sustainable growth.
It added that these efforts have been pursued alongside a focus on social protection, accountability and responsible leadership.
Looking ahead to the New Year, the NDC reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to fully delivering on its mandate, with priority areas including economic recovery, job creation for the youth, the strengthening of public institutions and the improvement of living standards for all Ghanaians.
The party further assured citizens of its continued responsiveness, discipline and results-oriented approach to governance in the year ahead, expressing optimism for a more prosperous and inclusive future for the nation.
