Ho Central MP donates 50 bags of cement to support police training school project

The Member of Parliament for Ho Central in the Volta Region, Richmond Edem Kpotosu, has donated 50 bags of cement to the Ho Police Training School to aid in the completion of an ongoing training square project.
The donation was made during the MP’s visit to the facility as part of his broader efforts to support security institutions within his constituency.
Mr. Kpotosu emphasised the need to strengthen the infrastructure of the training school to ensure that police recruits are well-prepared to maintain peace, order, and professionalism in their duties.
“Security is a shared responsibility. Supporting institutions like the Police Training School is an investment in national stability and safety,” the MP stated during the visit.
Receiving the donation, the Commander of the Ho Police Training School, ACP William Yankey Acolatse, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr Kpotosu for the timely support, describing the gesture as a meaningful contribution to the school's development.
"This donation will go a long way in facilitating the completion of our training square, which is critical to the physical training and parade drills of our recruits," ACP Acolatse said.
He also appealed to NGOs, corporate organisations, and philanthropic individuals to emulate the MP’s example, noting that while government support remains vital, it alone cannot meet the increasing infrastructural and logistical needs of security institutions.
