GRASAG announces commencement of bursary payments for 2023/2024 academic year

The Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG-National) has announced that bursary payments for graduate students for the 2023/2024 academic year have officially commenced.
In a statement signed by Jimmy Mawuse Adangbe, President of GRASAG-National, and Solomon Ametor, PRO, the Association expressed appreciation to Mr. Alexander Kwaku Asafo, Registrar of the Scholarship Secretariat, for fast-tracking the payment process.
The Association explained that payments are being processed on a school-by-school basis and urged all approved beneficiaries to exercise patience as their respective institutions are reached.
“Please have affirmation that your account will be duly credited once your institution is reached,” the statement assured.
GRASAG emphasised that only students who applied for the bursary are eligible for payment and commended beneficiaries for their patience and understanding throughout the exercise.
The bursary support forms part of the government’s efforts, through the Scholarship Secretariat, to ease the financial burden on graduate students across the country.
