The Member of Parliament for Tema East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mr Isaac Ashai Odamtten,  joined the Muslim faithful at the Tema Sports Stadium to commemorate Eid-ul-Adha, the Islamic Festival of Sacrifice.

The celebration, led by the Tema Metro Chief Imam, Alhaji Adam Abubakari, brought together worshippers in a vibrant display of unity, devotion, and community spirit.

In a goodwill message delivered at the event, Mr  Odamtten praised the Muslim community for their steadfast faith, resilience, and enduring commitment to peace—qualities he described as “the foundation of Tema East’s progress.”

Reflecting on the deeper significance of Eid-ul-Adha, the MP urged all residents to embrace the festival’s core values of sacrifice, compassion, and generosity.

“Eid-ul-Adha is not merely a celebration—it is a call to action. A call to lift others up, especially the vulnerable among us,” he said.

“As your representative, I draw inspiration from your unity and reaffirm my dedication to building a constituency defined by inclusivity, growth, and shared responsibility.”

Mr. Odamtten also emphasized the importance of religious tolerance and social cohesion, noting that the strength of Tema East lies in its diversity.

He encouraged constituents to show kindness, offer support to the needy, and work together to create a better future for all.

The MP’s presence at the Eid gathering was warmly welcomed by the community, with many expressing appreciation for his continued engagement and grassroots approach to leadership. He took time to interact with residents, exchange greetings, and join in prayers.

In closing, Hon. Odamtten reiterated his commitment to partnering with religious and community leaders to drive progress in education, youth development, and infrastructure across the constituency.

“Together, we will build a Tema East where every individual is empowered and no one is left behind,” he pledged.

The celebration marked yet another milestone in the MP’s ongoing efforts to foster unity and development across Tema East.
