Ablekuma West MP leads stakeholder meeting following Dansoman Market fire
In the wake of the devastating fire at Dansoman Market in the Greater Accra Region, a stakeholders meeting was convened to assess the situation and coordinate relief efforts for affected traders.
The meeting was led by the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Rev. Kweku Addo, and brought together officials from the Market and Sanitation Committee, Municipal Security Committee (MUSEC) and other relevant departmental heads.
Discussions focused on preliminary assessments of the damage, immediate relief measures for traders, and strategies to restore normal market operations.
Rev. Kweku Addo emphasised the importance of swift and coordinated action to support those affected and to prevent further disruption to market activities.
Authorities have assured that updates on relief efforts and recovery plans will be provided in the coming days.
