Daddy Lumba funeral brouhaha: Odo Broni supporters seek divine intervention after Manhyia palace ruling
Supporters of Odo Broni, the embattled second wife of late Ghanaian highlife legend Daddy Lumba, are seeking divine intervention after a recent ruling by the Manhyia Palace regarding the musician's funeral arrangements.
The palace's decision, which includes postponing the funeral date from December 6 to December 13, 2025, and dissolving the funeral committee led by Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu, has reportedly left Odo Broni's supporters heartbroken.
In an emotional prayer session on TikTok, led by Freda Afriyie, a vocal defender of Odo Broni, participants sang solemn hymns and prayed for peace and justice in the ongoing family feud.
The ruling also granted permission for a new autopsy to be conducted on Daddy Lumba's body, amid allegations of foul play.
Daddy Lumba's grandmother has expressed her support for Akosua Serwaa, the first wife, and warned Odo Broni and Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu against contesting the ruling
