President Mahama swears in Matilda Asante-Asiedu as Second Deputy Governor of Bank of Ghana

President John Dramani Mahama has administered the oath of office to Matilda Asante-Asiedu, officially inducting her as the Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
The swearing-in ceremony, held at the seat of government, was attended by members of the central bank’s board and senior government officials.
In his address, President Mahama described the appointment as a significant step in his administration’s ongoing drive to strengthen national institutions.
He emphasised his commitment to merit-based leadership, transparency, and public service.
The President also praised the central bank’s leadership for their crucial role in advancing Ghana’s economic recovery, highlighting their efforts as instrumental in restoring confidence in the financial system
