NYA boss urges youth to enroll in Free National Apprenticeship Programme

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga, has called on young people across the country to take full advantage of the ongoing free enrollment into the National Apprenticeship Programme.
Speaking at the official launch of the initiative, Mr Ayariga highlighted the programme as a key intervention by President John Dramani Mahama aimed at equipping Ghanaian youth, particularly persons living with disabilities, with practical, employable skills at no cost.
“This programme is about empowerment,” he said.
“It is about giving our young people, especially the most vulnerable among us, the tools they need to build a better future.”
Lawyer Ayariga urged the youth not to delay signing up, stressing that the opportunity could be life-changing. “Act now, seize this opportunity, and secure a brighter tomorrow through skill training,” he added.
The National Apprenticeship Programme seeks to address youth unemployment by providing vocational training and support in various trades.
