The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) will on today, 27th November 2025, convene a national forum focused on expanding the use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) across the country.

The event, organised under the leadership of the Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Mr John Abdulai Jinapor, and the Chief Executive of the NPA, Mr. Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, will bring together key industry players, regulators and stakeholders in the energy sector.

According to the NPA, the forum aims to deepen discussions on strategies to increase LPG adoption nationwide, enhance accessibility, and ensure affordability for households and businesses.

Participants are expected to explore policy interventions, infrastructure expansion, pricing mechanisms, and safety standards that will support Ghana’s clean energy transition.

The forum forms part of the government’s broader agenda to promote cleaner cooking fuels, reduce reliance on traditional biomass, and advance national commitments to environmental sustainability.
