Police interdict DSP over alleged Accra Race Course demolition
The Police Administration has interdicted DSP Alhassan Malaika Jibril over his involvement in an alleged demolition exercise at the Accra Race Course at Borteyman on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
According to the Police Administration, the interdiction is to facilitate investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
"The Criminal Investigations Department (C.I.D.) and the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) are investigating the matter," a statement on the Ghana Police Serive Facebook page said.
The Police Administration said, "Anyone found culpable will be taken through the due process of the law."
