SIC Insurance hosts Burkina Faso trade delegation to strengthen regional partnership
The Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC, Mr. James Agyeinim Boateng, has hosted a delegation of Ghanaian representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso (CCI-BF) at the company’s head office in Accra.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to review ongoing joint transit operations between SIC Insurance and CCI-BF, which play a key role in facilitating cross-border trade and logistics between Ghana and Burkina Faso.
Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and improving operational efficiency to support businesses engaged in regional commerce.
Mr. Boateng reaffirmed SIC Insurance’s commitment to deepening its partnership with CCI-BF, emphasising the importance of insurance-backed transit systems in promoting secure and seamless trade across West Africa.
The CCI-BF representatives also pledged their continued cooperation, highlighting the value of sustained collaboration in enhancing trade flows and supporting economic growth within the sub-region.
The engagement marks another milestone in efforts to strengthen economic ties between Ghana and Burkina Faso, as both institutions seek to promote regional integration and expand opportunities for businesses operating across borders.
